    Ship Ballast Water Treatment using
    Industrial Copper Ionisation Technology
    AquaLyse® "Bravo" models are specifically engineered for ship ballast water reservoirs. This industrial copper ionisation technology kills, controls and prevents algae and bio-obstructions caused by non indigenous invertebrate infestations.     Since its establishment, the BWWG (Ballast Water Working Group) has concluded that copper ionisation is one of three (3) currently available biocide methods to improve the control of invasive aquatic species in ballast water.

    Killing these organisms at the larval stages is critical in population control and must be implemented quickly to stop any proliferation, growth and fixation/colony growth causing obstructions.

    AquaLyse® Bravo copper ionisation systems are 100% compatible with all existing ballast intake and drainage systems with remote monitoring and managements software accessible from the engineering, bridge or any other regions of the ship as required by the user. Mainland offices can also monitor the water treatment system by using the ship's existing telecommunication network, GSM or satellite phones.
