History
Highlights:
Founded in 1987 under the licensed name
“Info Life Inc.”, ProCare Water Treatment Inc. was
initially involved in water treatment projects relating to environmental
microbiology and water quality control programs. Specifically,
the corporation’s objectives began in general water analysis
and environmental effluent identification.
In 1992, the corporation launched its Legionella
control and prevention division designed for domestic hot water
systems. It was also decided at this point that given the delicate
public relations nature of Legionella outbreaks, its involvement
and conduct would be guided by an internal “Non disclosure
policy” in regards to past interventions and clients. This
policy is to this day still in effect.
In
early 2001, Mr. Chris
Gauthier, (Microbiologist) is appointed CEO of the corporation
with a mandate to develop a next generation industrial copper
silver ionization system. Believing that existing technologies
would be sufficient, he proposes a business partnership with a
Quebec based manufacturing company. The preliminary research study
was dropped after 9 months when it was concluded that the technology
was designed for swimming pools and could not perform as required
in domestic hot water systems or cooling towers. Mr. Gauthier
initiates Phase 1 of the Next generation ionization systems with
the the primary goal to satisfy environmental parameters and market
demands.
In 2002, ProCare Water Treatment Inc. begins
phase 2 of the Next Generation “Industrial” copper
silver ionization technology. During this period, field studies
and observational research was conducted towards identifying current
ionization users and record their field experiences with a wide
variety of available ionization technologies. In all, the most
critical comments where the lack of telemetry features and scale
buildup on the electrodes. Overall high maintenance cost for these
existing units was also a regular negative comment for over 83%
of participants.
2003 was primarily focused on in-house class
and field training for our agents and environmental engineers
around the world. Focus was on Legionella protocols, environmental
science, water quality control programs and overall infectious
control protocols in relation to the ionization process. A formal
evaluation system was implemented in order to maintain agent and
distributor educational track records.
In 2005, ProCare Water Treatment Inc. launched
the latest version of its industrial copper silver ionization
systems called the AquaLyse® series. Currently delivering
the most sophisticated and affordable technology in it’s
class, these AquaLyse® copper silver ion generators are specifically
engineered for large domestic hot water systems and cooling towers.
As a result of this evolutionary step in water treatment technology
and methodology, the AquaLyse® ion generators are quickly
becoming a benchmark requirement in many Legionella control and
prevention protocols currently under review by governments around
the world.
With multiple world pending patents on design
and methodology, the AquaLyse® copper silver ion generators
currently offer the most performing and best priced Legionella
control and prevention technology on the market.
